CHANGE THE CODE ON YOUR VIACCEESS SMART CARD

Select channel for change code /for example - for Viasat  TV1000/

Update channel or provider must be handled on your smart card

A. MAIN MENU / CONDITIONAL ACCESS / choose VIACCESS EMBEDDED

               /this menu will be activated if you have inserted Smartcard in the slot/

B. Now you will see the VIACCESS EMBEDDED MENU

               1. SUBSCRIPTON INFORMATION - choose provider  < >

               2. SMART CARD SETTINGS - press OK

C. Now you will see the SMART CARD SETTINGS

               Select   CHANGE SMART CARD CODE and press OK

D. Now screen will show ENTER NEW SMART CARD CODE

               you must have new code in Multimac format -  8  4-digits

               /for example 0000-0001-0002-0003-0004-0005-0006-0007/

               insert first 4-digits  /for example 0000/

                RETYPE NEW CODE - insert first 4-digits again /0000/

C. Now you will see the SMART CARD SETTINGS MENU again

               Select CHANGE SMART CARD CODE and press OK

E. Now attention! You will not see  ENTER NEW SMART CARD CODE, but

                ENTER SMART CARD CODE - insert first 4-digits again /0000/!!!

now you will see     

ENTER NEW SMART CARD CODE - now insert second 4-digits /0001/

               RETYPE NEW CODE - confirm this code /insert second 4-digits 0001/

F. Now you will see the SMART CARD SETTINGS

         Select  CHANGE SMART CARD CODE and press OK

insert second 4-digits /0001/ again and continuing from letter E.

Insert all 8 4-digits and after later digits you will see SMART CARD SETTINGS.

               Press EXIT, this channel and other provider's channels are decoded.
